Volunteer Groups

Volunteer groups are very vital to Camp Bear Creek.

We have a rich history of individuals, churches, and organizations giving off their time and resources to help make Camp Bear Creek the amazing place it is today. Many of our buildings and green spaces were planned and built with the help of volunteers.

Projects can be found for any size group from 2 to 50! Projects could include painting, raking, gardening, trail work, carpentry, stuffing envelopes, or just a general clean up. We look for projects that fit our needs as well as the interests of each work group. Typically, volunteer groups spend the entire day at Camp, but smaller projects do exist for those with time constraints. Work groups are welcome on weekdays and Saturdays. If you are interested in bringing a group to Camp Bear Creek, please reach out to our Camp Director, Stacie, at stacie@bearcreek.camp or (563) 488-3893.
