Kitchen Staff

Every summer, we serve kids from all across Eastern Iowa and even around the United States. While kids are here, we provide an experience that is memorable and life-changing.

A big part of that experience is the food! It is around the table that relationships are built as kids and counselors eat and share together. Food is also a big part of extending hospitality and ensuring that everyone feels welcome and cared for. When our everyday needs are met, we are more likely to be willing to try new things, make new friends, and step out of our comfort zones.

We are looking for individuals to join our kitchen staff. Come be a part of providing rest and retreat for others! This is the perfect job for those who want a few hours during the school year and more work during the summer. From May to August, we are busy almost every day preparing meals for summer camp. During our retreat season, we provide food service as requested for guests and groups. Cooks during our retreat season can choose to work weekdays or weekends as shifts become available and as your schedule allows. Salary: $12/hour
