Autum was born in San Diego, California but moved to Iowa when she was in 5th grade. She went to day camps during the summer with her friends and she went overnight camping with her family, but this will be her first time at an overnight summer camp! Autum says, “I want to create great memories and ensure the little ones have a safe and fun time!”
She is currently studying Business Analytics at Kirkwood. Autum has a lot of different interests and hobbies. “I love being outside! I go on hikes whenever I have the time, and I like to surf and ski. I also love creating little crochet projects and reading when I can.” You definitely don’t meet many surfers in Iowa! Autum also really loves to travel and has been to the Grand Canyon four different times. Another fun hobby of hers is collecting cool and vintage things at antique stores.
There are a few different ways Autum likes to connect with God. She says, “My personal favorite would be going on nature walks. It helps me feel connected to the world at large as well as God. However, singing with people is definitely the most fun!” What message does she have for our campers this summer? Autum has this to share: “We’re gonna have an amazing summer!”
Autum’s favorite Bible verse is Isaiah 60:20: “At the right time, I, the Lord, will make it happen.”
