CAMP BEAR CREEK

Events & Retreats

Camp isn’t only for summer! Here at Camp Bear Creek, it’s a way of life.

There is plenty to see and experience year-round. Our setting provides the perfect place to connect with nature and live in the moment. Step out of the busyness of schedules, school, and work and find the space to rest, to be honestly and authentically yourself, and to immerse yourself in simplicity, beauty, and community.

There’s always something happening at camp, and we invite you to be a part of it! Explore our retreat and event offerings happening year-round right here at Camp Bear Creek. If you’d like to schedule your own retreat or gathering, visit our Retreat Booking page for more information on how to do just that.

Worship in the Woods

We invite you to come out to camp to worship with the camp community as we celebrate 65 years of Camp Bear Creek! The Presbyterian Churches in Eastern Iowa started Camp Bear Creek in 1960 and we want to take time to honor their commitment to the camp. We will also take time to commission the summer staff as they embark on the upcoming summer program.

We will run activities starting at 1pm for individuals and families to enjoy and begin our outdoor worship at 3pm. Please bring a camping chair for the outdoor worship. There is no cost for this event. Come out and enjoy an afternoon at camp! Please RSVP using the button below or by phone at 563-488-3893 by May 23rd.

Break out the hot chocolate and snowballs. Gear up for the Winter Olympics and trips down the sledding hill.
