Aiden is joining us this summer for his second summer on staff! He also grew up attending camp when he was a kid. Aiden says, “As a camper, I loved coming to camp every summer. As a counselor, I’ve found an even deeper love for camp, and how it shaped my youth to make me who I am today.”
Aiden is from Marion, Iowa. He’s the oldest in a family of five children, so he has plenty of experience working with kids. Aiden has a lot of different interests and hobbies like listening to music, go-karting, and playing video games. When Aiden is excited about something, he goes all in. He once drove three hours just to see a movie he really wanted to watch.
Walking in nature and just enjoying the world around him is Aiden’s favorite way to connect with God. Thinking about returning to camp for this year, Aiden says, “I’m looking forward to being in nature all summer in my favorite place in the world.”
Aiden’s favorite Bible verse is 1 Corinthians 4:20: “God’s way is not a matter of mere talk; it is an empowered life.”
