Sara is from Davenport, Iowa, and she plans to attend the University of Iowa to major in Marketing and Management. She managed to earn a Small Business Management certificate while in high school, so she’s well prepared for starting college this fall!
Although this will be Sara’s first summer on staff, she has spent a lot of her life at Camp Bear Creek. “I went to Camp Bear Creek every summer as a kid and always enjoyed reconnecting with camp friends. My favorite camp was water adventures because of all the activities we did.” This summer, she’s looking forward to meeting new people, making new connections, and growing in her faith.
In her free time, Sara likes to spend time with friends, listen to music, play sports, and travel. You’ll have to ask her what her favorite travel destination is! She also loves her pets. Sara has two dogs and two cats. When it comes to connecting with God, Sara most enjoys praying and worshipping with others.
Sara’s favorite Bible verse is Philippians 4:13: “I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me.”
