Lilly is an Exercise Science major at Iowa State. She grew up in Madrid, Iowa, and is so excited to take what she’s learning in the classroom at school and help get kids moving and active at camp. She says to the kids: “I can’t wait to spend the summer getting to know you and getting closer to our faith!” She’s also anxious to make new memories and meet new people and have an amazing camp experience this summer.
In her free time, Lilly likes to read, hike, and go running. She’s the kind of person who is always looking for an adventure and loves to try new things. She’s very high energy and always ready to have fun. She’s also the kind of person who is always laughing about something. If Lilly is your counselor, your in for a fun-filled week of camp!
Lilly connects best with God through walking and gettin out in nature. That’s part of what drew her to the camp experience and inspired her to spend her summer with us here at Camp Bear Creek.
Lilly’s favorite Bible verse is Philippians 4:6: “Don’t be anxious about anything; rather, bring up all of your requests to God in your prayers and petitions, along with giving thanks.”
