Colton is from Juneau, Wisconsin, and attends the University of Dubuque where he is studying education. This will be his first camp experience, and he’s ready to jump in! Colton says, “I am most excited to connect with and get to know the campers in my group. I’m ready to have a super fun summer with everyone at camp. I’m also looking forward to all of the activities that we will be doing like archery and rock climbing as well as growing in my faith.”
In his free time, Colton loves to be outside. He enjoys things like running, biking, hiking, kayaking and skiing. He also likes to read, he’s trying to get better at drawing, and he’s teaching himself how to play the guitar. Colton is a man of many talents! Admittedly, Colton is also a huge sports fan and says he’s ready to talk sports with any other sports fanatics this summer.
Colton is excited to join the Camp Bear Creek community and experience camp life. “I am ready to hit the ground running at camp and make sure it is an amazing experience for every camper. I can’t wait to get to know my group and am really excited for this summer.” He connects best with God through reading his Bible. He loves all the Bible stories and the things you can learn when you read them, but his favorite is probably David and Goliath. He’s excited to get to be part of Bible study at camp this summer.
Colton’s favorite Bible verse is Mark 9:23: “‘If you can?’ said Jesus. ‘Everything is possible for one who believes.'”
