Davonn is from Silvis, Illinois. He grew up coming to Camp Bear Creek and worked on staff in 2023. Now, he’s back to join us again for this summer! He brings a very positive energy to the staff and describes himself as quite the “entertainer!”
Davonn loves art. He says that he is always chasing a laugh, and he’s ready at any moment in a conversation to chime in with a fun fact. One of his favorite parts of camp is leading games and just spending time with other staff and campers.
Davonn connects best with God just by being in nature and enjoying God’s creation. He also enjoys expressing worship through art.
Davonn’s favorite Bible verse is Philippians 4:13: “I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me.”
