Micah is from Cedar Rapids, Iowa, and as you may notice, he’s one of three Langley siblings working at Camp Bear Creek this summer! He is graduating from high school this year and plans to attend Wartburg College to study Vocal Music Education. Micah grew up coming to Camp Bear Creek and is excited to join the summer staff this year. He says, “Camp is probably my favorite place on the planet because it allows me to feel at peace and it is just the friendliest environment I’ve been a part of. I always feel closest to God when I am out at camp.”
Micah loves music. He plays the bassoon, tenor saxophone, and likes to sing. He can also beatbox! In his free time, he likes to hang out with his friends and play video games with his siblings. He likes to watch Formula 1 races and his favorite team is Red Bull. He also enjoys building lego cars. Micah connects best with God by going to camp, singing, and talking with his friends about religion.
Micah can’t wait to be at camp for the entire summer. He says, “I’m really looking forward to worshiping around the campfire as well as being back at one of my all time favorite places. I am very excited to meet a bunch of new people this summer and make lasting memories and friendships.”
Micah’s favorite Bible verse is Ephesians 2:10: “For we are God’s handiwork, created in Christ Jesus to do good works, which God prepared in advance for us to do.”
