Rahiem Gregory

Rahiem actually goes by his last name, Gregory. He is a Physical Education major at Old Dominion University and joins us this summer all the way from the great state of Virginia. When looking for things to do this summer, Gregory wanted to find a job where he could grow in his teaching skills and working with kids. He’s also excited about his own personal growth. Gregory says, “I am looking forward to getting out of my comfort zone and growing in my faith.”

In his free time, Gregory likes to go to the gym, go on walks, or play video games. One of his favorite foods is wings, and he says he could eat them every day! He’s also a bit of a history buff and likes watching historical movies.

This summer will be Gregory’s first time at a summer camp, although he did have the opportunity to volunteer at a camp in Alaska last year at a program for the visually impaired. Gregory’s favorite way to connect with God is through Bible study. He loves being able to apply what he is learning to his every day life.

Gregory’s favorite Bible verse is John 3:16: “For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life.”
